Introducing HAMILTON-EM7 – a brand-new EMS transport ventilator

Medidyne is pleased to announce the arrival of HAMILTON-EM7. The new transport ventilator from Hamilton Medical is now available in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland. Designed specifically for emergency medical services and acute care environments, the HAMILTON-EM7 brings advanced ventilation capabilities into situations where reliability, speed, and ease of use are essential.

HAMILTON-EM7 is built on Hamilton Medical’s long-standing expertise in critical care ventilation. It combines a compact and lightweight design with powerful performance: weighing less than 4.5 kg and offering up to 8.5 hours of battery run time. The ventilator is engineered to support respiratory care during transport without compromising clinical capabilities.

Designed for the realities of emergency and transport care

The HAMILTON-EM7 has been developed to support healthcare professionals working in demanding environments, including emergency medical services (EMS), emergency departments, and disaster response and surge situations. The ventilator supports both adult and pediatric patients and offers invasive and noninvasive ventilation, including oxygen therapy. Its integrated high-performance turbine delivers flows exceeding 215 L/min. In that way, HAMILTON-EM7 supports effective ventilation even in challenging, noninvasive ventilation scenarios.

Advanced ventilation technology designed to reduce staff workload

The HAMILTON-EM7 incorporates many of the ventilation technologies healthcare professionals have come to expect from Hamilton Medical. Available modes include volume-controlled and pressure-controlled ventilation, NIV modes, as well as Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV) (åpnes i ny fane). ASV is Hamilton Medical’s intelligent ventilation mode designed to continuously adapt to the patient’s needs, helping optimize support while minimizing the number of manual adjustments staff need to make — so clinicians can spend less time managing the ventilator and more time on the patient.
