An innovation in temperature monitoring
Medidyne adds Temple Touch Pro to the Nordic product portfolio. The temperature monitoring solution provides non-invasive, continuous monitoring of the patient’s core temperature.
Laerdal is a global leader in simulation-based medical education and training in resuscitation. The company’s latest Little Anne CPR mannequins and AED Trainer help CPR instructors create fun, motivating and effective training sessions. The products are the latest additions to Medidyne’s wide portfolio of Laerdal solutions.
Frederik Clem, head of first aid and AEDs, says: “Medidyne has its roots in first aid, and for many years now, we have had a strong and solid collaboration with Laerdal, who is a leading provider of first-aid training equipment”.
Frederik continues: “To this day, enabling more people to save lives by teaching CPR and the use of defibrillators continue to be one of our most important tasks. Laerdal is an essential partner in this regard, as they create the quality tools that enable us and first-aid instructors across the Nordics to carry out the lifesaving work.“
The new Little Anne mannequins are available with light or dark skin tone and can be purchased in package solutions with a combination of both. The design is stackable, which saves a lot of space and eases transportation. In addition to the enhanced design, the mannequins also come with user-friendly technology that makes CPR training fun and effective: The first-aid instructor can view data from all the mannequins in the classroom in the QCPR app, see how students perform and guide them on how to enhance their CPR technique.
The AED Trainer from Laerdal provides a lifelike experience of using a defibrillator during a cardiac arrest. It contains the features found in most defibrillators and thus equips students with the basic skills needed to use a defibrillator for resuscitation. The AED Trainer can be connected to CPR mannequins, and more defibrillators can be connected via the QCPR app. This makes Laerdal’s AED Trainers ideal for group lessons, as instructors can easily get an overview and guide students in the use of a defibrillator.
